Shop-N-Bag

Secret Places (7)

Shoot the fire extinguisher by aisle 1 to find a secret place.

MISSING IMAGE!

This is between the aisles. Notice that the boxes in the middle of the image are shaded slightly darker. Press on them to open a hidden compartment.

MISSING IMAGE!

To the right of the yellow access switch are some boxes in a corner. One of them has a crack. Shoot the crack with an explosive to find a secret place.

MISSING IMAGE!

The ATM machine on the left can be opened. Watch out for the three gun turrets inside. Destroy them and jump in to be credited for another secret place.

MISSING IMAGE!

As soon as you enter the red access switch door, go to the right side of the room and look for this shelf. At the top is a small hole and a hidden door.

MISSING IMAGE!

This is in the last room before the trash compactor. Walk behind the pile of boxes and crates in the corner and press on the wall next to the arrow (it's dark back here so you have to be pretty close to see the arrow).

MISSING IMAGE!

Look for a dark spot along the left wall of the trash compactor. Press on it to find the last secret area (and a reference to Snake Plissken from the movies "Escape from New York"/"Escape from L.A.").

Secret Messages

"Run your ass off": Found in a vent near the trash compactor at the end of the level (requires being shrunken or using DNCLIP). The nature of the joke is that you are supposed to be shrunken in order to see the message, in which case you would be trying to get the hell out of there before you grow back to normal size.

Secret Combinations

These combination switches are found in the Meat Market kitchen (accessible from the vents). The correct combination temporarily opens a shutter compartment, unveiling the yellow access card. The shutter automatically closes, you just have to press one of the switches to get it to open again.

MISSING IMAGE!

This switch is found on the ceiling behind the yellow access switch door. Technically it's not a combination switch. I have included it here because its function is a bit tricky. After unlocking and opening the yellow access switch door, a gate continues to block you from entering the room. If you scan the ceiling behind the gate you will see this switch. Shooting it opens the gate, and very covertly, it also opens all of the other similar gates which were blocking off other areas of the level.

MISSING IMAGE!

These combination switches are found behind the checkout till in the corner. The correct combination unlocks the door to the manager's office.

MISSING IMAGE!

These switches are found inside the manager's office. Technically this isn't a combination (it doesn't matter which order the switches are activated), but it's a bit more involved than the usual routine. When you press the switch next to the safe (left side of image), a shutter temporarily opens in the wall behind you (right side of image). You must quickly shoot the switch in the wall before the shutter closes. This will open the safe temporarily, revealing a red access card. Nab the card before the safe closes!

MISSING IMAGE!

These switches are part of the trash compactor at the end of the level. Once again, this isn't technically a combination, but it's also beyond the standard routine. Neither of the switches shown in the image are initially visible. You will see a small indentation in the wall where the dipswitch is supposed to be (left side of image). Walk up to it to temporarily open the shutter. Shoot the switch before the shutter closes. Doing so will make the multiswitch available (right side of image). Each consecutive activation of the multiswitch will toggle one crusher. The idea is to halt all four of them in positions that will allow you to safely reach the nuke button. If you're lazy, you can just schizophrenically mash the switch until the path is clear. Or, if you're feeling unusually confident, you could disregard all of this rubbish and attempt to leg it across a 'live' trash compactor.
